I'm all fuzzy inside.. and outside!

Let me just reiterate... My husband ROCKS!!!!

He gets off a little early today from work.  And what does he do.. he VOLUNTEERS to go to Walmart on the way home.  Pick up some foodstuffs for the coming few days.  I didn't have to ask.  I didn't have to remind.  In fact, he even offered to pick up something for lunch, AND cook supper so I didn't have to.  Seriously.. who could ask for more??

I couldn't ask for more, but let me tell you.. he delivered more.  He came home with a super special surprise for me.  I have this soft fuzzy flannel fetish... I like fuzzy blankets, fuzzy clothes.  But they have to be super super soft.  My man, not only goes to walmart, but ALSO ventures into the women's clothes section and found me some of the softest, fuzziest jammy bottoms he could find.  And not only that, but they are CUTE.  They are black with little snowflakes all over them. 

You're jealous, aren't you?  You should be.. Because let's face it.  My man ROCKS!

My Husband ROCKS

So it's Wednesday, and my dear man should be taking it easy on his days off.  Instead he put in a full day today of overtime, with the intentions of doing it again tomorrow.   He's out there busting his butt, putting in extra time, doing whatever he can to make sure the kids have a good Christmas season.  Notice I didn't say good GIFTS... his focus is to make sure their SEASON is good... We start celebrating Dec 1st.  He even saved up his vacation time this year to make sure to be able to take his vacation during the holidays... to spend with the family.

Now I know he THINKS he isn't a good provider... He worries because we aren't rolling in money.  Money gets tight. But seriously.... we're a family of 6.  SIX.  1 teenage boy, 1 pre-teen, and 2 young kids that love to eat.  LOL  Money is *supposed* to be tight.  HOWEVER, this magnificent man of mine works hard so I can stay home and home school our children.  He TOTALLY supports us, on his own, and MY HUSBAND ROCKS.  I <3 him so much!

WELCOME!

Welcome to the first edition of MY HUSBAND ROCKS!  I've started this blog up to show all you single ladies out there that good men *DO* exist.  I have a wonderful man, that I thank God for daily.

This week alone I've watched Larry learn how to fix appliances so we wouldn't spend money we didn't have, and wouldn't have to wear dirty clothes.  (Oh and so I wouldn't have to constantly take loads to my mom's!).  He had no clue in the beginning how to do it, but he was willing to learn, and did a wonderful job.  He's a great provider for us!

I've also watched him do unlimited things for me.  From bringing me a freshly laundered (see above!) housecoat when I was cold, to bringing me drinks, rubbing my back at night.  Anything and everything he can to show me he loves me.  I don't deserve that kind of kindness.  He's a wonderful husband to me!

And his kindness doesn't stop with me.  He goes upstairs to read a story to Sky at night as he's getting ready for bed.  All because she's "skerrrred."  We both know she's not really scared.  She just wants those last few minutes with her daddy.  And he's willing, because as he says, "She's only going to be little for a short time.  Before long, it'll be another man's attention she wants."  He's such a wonderful father.

Yeah... it's easy to say... MY HUSBAND ROCKS!
